Barack Obama Campaigns for Tim Kaine, Jennifer Wexton in Northern Virginia

Former President Barack Obama campaigned for Sen. Tim Kaine and congressional candidate Jennifer Wexton Monday afternoon in Northern Virginia.

Obama spoke in Fairfax Station, Virginia, and urged supporters to "make sure that people vote to make America better."

"The character of this country is on the ballot. Who we are is on the ballot," Obama said.

Rep. Barbara Comstock, who is working to retain her seat and fight off Wexton, said Wexton and Democrats would raise residents' taxes.
