Barack Obama wrapped up his last full day of campaigning in Northern Virginia Monday night, where he was greeted by an enormous crowd.
Obama started his general election campaign in Prince William County in June, and appropriately, that's where he held his final rally.
Supporters started arriving at the fairgrounds at 5 a.m., and filed in all day to hear Obama speak. The candidate was more than an hour late, but that did not take the enthusiasm out of the crowd.
An estimated 80,000 people showed up for the rally. They heard Obama urge supporters to boost turnout Tuesday in a state that political observers say could seal a presidential victory for the democrat.
"Tomorrow, at this defining moment in history, Virginia, you can give this country the change that we need," Obama told the crowd. "It starts here in Virginia."
