Dick Cheney is wasting no time getting back on his feet from a mild heart attack.
The former vice president has a coffee date today with his old boss, former president George W. Bush, according to the New York Times.
Cheney spent the past few days in a local hospital recovering from a mild heart attack. He was admitted to George Washington University Hospital on Monday and was released Wednesday after doctors gave him the OK.
Thursday’s meeting between Bush and Cheney will be the first time the former colleagues have seen each other since the end of their eight-year stint in the White House.
