Women Who Sit Too Much Have Increased Cancer Risk: Study

A new study claims women who spend too time on their rears have an increased risk of cancer. According to a study published in "Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers, and Prevention," which followed participants for 16 years, women who spend their downtime sitting have an increased risk for ovarian cancer, breast cancer, and multiple myeloma. While men generally did not have an increased risk according to the study, they did find overweight men who sat for extended periods of time increased their risk for cancer by up to 11 percent. This is the latest study showing that the sitting disease, too much time on our rumps, negatively impacts our health.
