After knockout Spring '12 and Fall '12 collections, buzz surrounding Altuzarra's latest had reached a dull roar. Thankfully, the designer lived up to the hype by showcasing his expert tailoring skills with slick outerwear pieces like this railroad-stripe blazer-jacket, which features sleeve cutouts at the hip so it can stay in place over the shoulders.

While crisp outerwear pieces were an important aspect of the Spring '13 collection, Altuzarra also experimented with messy layers that had a luxe, bohemian appeal. This elegant navy blue evening dress looked as if it was fashioned from silk scarves festooned in gold beads and fringe.

There seemed to be a few nods to luxe Indian embellishments mixed into Altuzarra's eveningwear. Here, a silk crepe dinner jacket in cream with a glittering fringed scarf collar was paired with white, starburst-embroidered trousers.

Given the collection's blue, cream and navy color palette, a few looks—like this scarf-like wrap dress—called to mind some of Rodarte's more bohemian looks for Spring '12, which took inspiration from Vincent VanGogh.
