Mickey Haller's signature automobile is about to get a lot more mileage.
Variety is reporting that ABC and Lionsgate are currently developing a TV series based on "The Lincoln Lawyer," the Michael Connelly-penned series of novels about Michael "Mickey" Haller, a lawyer who conducts his business from the back of a Lincoln Town Car. Haller, of course, was portrayed by Matthew McConaughey in the film adaptation back in March.
"The Lincoln Lawyer" would be joined by another legal thriller-novel-turned-movie-turned-TV-series when NBC brings "The Firm" to TVs mid-season.

The day's top national and international news.
The good news for fans of the series is that Connelly himself will be involving in writing the series pilot.
No word on McConaughey's involvement but looking at his upcoming slate of movies....he might want to consider taking a meeting.
