A drone strike suspected to be launched by the U.S. killed at least nine suspected militants in Pakistan on Sunday, government and security officials told NBC News. The drone strike targeted a militant compound in the region of North Waziristan, a militant hotbed long controlled by Taliban and al-Qaida-linked militants, official sources said.
