SEPTA Trolley Assault Suspect
Philadelphia Police

Detectives have released new surveillance video showing a man punching a teenage girl in the face on a Philadelphia trolley earlier this week.

"When I went to go turn around to get my hat, I saw that his fist was balled up as if he was ready to hit me, and he already said that he would hit me," said the victim.

The assault of the 17-year-old girl, named Shay, took place on a Route 15 SEPTA trolley along Girard Avenue on Wednesday morning. She got into an argument with the man after he complained about her bag bumping into him, the girl and police said.
