NBC Announces Jerry Bruckheimer's “Chase” for Fall Lineup

NBC says it's picking up a new drama series called "Chase" for its fall schedule.

"Chase" is described as a game of cat and mouse with a team of U.S. marshals hunting down America's most dangerous fugitives. This action series comes from the prolific executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer, known for his "CSI" franchise, "The Amazing Race" and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" films.

"Chase," announced Monday, joins "Undercovers," ''The Event," ''Love Bites" and "Outsourced" as NBC's fifth new scripted series ordered so far.

The official announcement date for NBC's fall lineup is May 17. That date kicks off the so-called Upfront Week, when all the major broadcast networks unveil their schedules for next season.
