Serbian genocide suspect Ratko Mladic refused to enter a plea at his war crimes trial Monday morning, resulting in his removal from the court. According to CNN International, Mladic demanded more lawyers, speaking over the judge until he was taken from the room. “You’re not allowing me to breathe,” Mladic said before the UN war crimes tribunal judge. On June 3, the former general said the charges against him were “obnoxious.” The 69-year-old is accused of front lining a campaign of ethnic cleansing and is allegedly responsible for thousands of deaths between 1992 and 1995.
