Malaysia has caved in to pressure from families of passengers who were aboard Flight MH370 and will publicly release satellite data used to narrow down the search area, NBC News reported. “This is consistent with our stand for greater transparency and prioritizing the interests of the family members of those on board MH370,” defense minister Hishammuddin Hussein said late Monday in a statement. It was not apparent when the raw data would be released.
