Suspect in Deadly Las Vegas Crash Held Without Bond

The woman who mowed down pedestrians on the Las Vegas Strip on Sunday night refused to tell investigators why she did it, NBC News reported.

Lakeisha Nicole Holloway, 24, was held without bail Monday, pending a formal bail hearing on Tuesday. She is likely to be charged with murder with a deadly weapon, among other charges, according to NBC News.

"We don't know what caused her to snap and whether it was planned previously," Clark County/Las Vegas Sheriff Joe Lombardo said. He said she hand’t been drinking or using drugs.

Holloway had been living in her car for a week, according to NBC News. She had her 3-year-old daughter with her when she drove onto the sidewalk, killing one person and injuring dozens more. Her daughter wasn’t hurt, police said.
