Justin Bieber made Instagram history Monday when his video became the site's first to hit one million likes.
Instagram's owner Facebook announced the new video capability just last week, and the Biebs — who has 9.2 million Instagram followers — posted the now viral clip on the same day.
In the selfie video, a shirtless Bieber shows off his chains and tattoos while announcing "some crazy news."
The 19-year-old's giggly behavior in the video has sparked media buzz, and the clip has received over 200,000 comments.
"Just cause he is happy it doesn't mean that he is high on drugs…," wrote Instagram user faithtinya.
The teen sensation was the also first to reach one million Instagram followers after joining in July 2011, according to Mashable, and he currently ranks as the most followed Twitter account.
