Eurosceptic Parties Triumph in European Elections

Far-right and anti-European Union parties made extensive gains in elections on Sunday, NBC News reported. Voters in dozens of countries in Europe went to the polls in recent days to elect representatives to the European Parliament, a sprawling institution representing hundreds of millions of people across the continent. Many Eurosceptic parties seek to rid the European Union of much of its power or abolish it completely. France's far-right National Front party was one of the most pronounced victors, winning the lion's share of the vote in France.
