Cop Called For Drugs by Mistake 4 Times

North Carolina police officer was left voicemail from a suspect looking for drugs

Four mis-dialed calls to an off-duty cop demanding drugs in the dead of night sent four people to jail in North Carolina early Monday morning.

Rowan County Sheriff’s Deputy Jagger Naves received calls from a suspect looking for drugs between 3:51 a.m. and 4:05 a.m. Monday, according to the Salisbury Post.

“This isn’t even a $10 rock. You need to make this right,” the female voice reportedly left in a message on the fourth call.

Naves called her back after alerting police and told the caller, later identified by authorities as Sandra Davis, that he was a cop and that she should stop calling him. She didn’t stop, according to Naves, prompting him to finally meet Davis and one other person in Cleveland, N.C. Officers joined Naves at the scene to detain the two would-be drug buyers. The two claimed to be waiting for two others, according to the Post.

As Naves seized their cell phones, one started to ring and the caller ID was one digit off from his number, police said. Naves met and arrested the caller and one other suspect at another location on drug charges.
