Burger King is bringing its black burger stateside just in time for Halloween.
Inspired by the "Kuro" burger sold at Burger King locations in Japan, the H.A1.LOWEEN Whopper will feature a black bun that has A.1. sauce baked in.
"We tailored the flavor of the black bun to the American palate with A.1. sauce, a flavor this country loves, and we’re delivering it in a way that’s never been done before by baking it into the bun. It may look Japanese but it tastes like America,” Eric Hirschhorn, Chief Marketing Officer of Burger King North America, said in the company's press release.

While Japan's Kuro burger boasted a black bun and black cheese, in the American version, the bun will be the only curiously colored part.
The black burger will be available for a limited time, beginning Monday, Sept. 28, at Burger King locations nationwide and will cost $4.99.
