Bruce Willis: “Die Hard 5” Has “Got to Go Worldwide”

Bruce Willis may never stop dying hard.

The actor told MTV News that he's ready to play John McClane once again in a fifth installment of the action franchise.

"I think we're going to do a 'Die Hard 5' next year," he said, adding that the new film would expand the saga's scope.

"It's got to go worldwide," Bruce said. "That would be my contribution to [the next movie]."

The star also praised the director of 2007's "Live Free or Die Hard," Len Wiseman, telling MTV, "I would hire [him] right now."

And while Bruce said he takes "a certain amount of pride" in his role in the beloved franchise, he said poking fun at it – as with his comic turn in this Friday's "Cop Out" – is even better.

"I like so much more making fun of it, taking the piss out of it and not making it a big deal," he explained. "Not making the fact that I've acted in a lot of movies a big deal. It's all illusion and it's all bulls*** and it's a great job for me to have, but everything else you can set on fire. Making people laugh is the real deal."
