Actor Morris Chestnut, who some may recognize from the 1991 flick "Boys N the Hood," is apparently done with his Hidden Hills 'hood. The actor recently sold his home for $2.3 million, reports the Los Angeles Times. Chestnut's former abode features two master bedroom suites, a tennis court, swimming pool, and five-stall stable, amongst other impressive amenities.
Located in Hidden Hills, Chestnut's Mediterranean-style home was built in 1974 and spans a little over 5,500 square feet.
A view of the "newer granite kitchen," according to the public listing. The kitchen also boasts stainless steel appliances with an open floor plan that connects to the spacious family room.
Chestnut purchased the home in 2007 for $3.3 million, which means he took a $1 million loss on the sale of his abode. That's obviously not ideal for the 43-year old actor.
The actor's old home boasts a teen suite on one floor with all of the other living areas on the main floor. Here's a view of the living room, which boasts an open-beam ceiling.
The living room opens up to the dining room in this SoCal pad. Chestnut most recently starred in "American Horror Story" and "V."
Chestnut's sold pad features stone floors and three fireplaces.
Step through either sets of paned French doors and enter the 2.4-acre lot that features a bevy of fun amenities, including an entire pasture area.
A view of the master bedroom (one of two master suites). There are six bedrooms total in Chestnut's former pad.
The home hosts 6.5 bathrooms. Here's a view of the master bath, which boasts its own sauna.
A sweeping view of the backyard and swimming deck.
The expansive lot comes with this swimming pool, as well as mature trees, a covered patio, and a barbecue area.
Right next to the swimming pool is this tennis court. We would opt to play on a cooler day--it looks quite hot out on the court.
The estate comes with a five-stall stable and pastures for the horse lovers.
