Obama's Speech Inspires Man to Give Up of All His Drugs

After listening to President Barack Obama's anti-drug-abuse speech, a West Virginia man called 911 asking law enforcement to take away his drugs in an attempt to drop his habit, authorities said.

On Oct. 21, Obama shared a personal part of his life and said he had done illegal drugs in his youth.

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office said a few hours after the speech, a man called 911 and said he needed help.

When the deputy arrived, the man in his mid-30s took investigators to a cooler full of drugs, including 16 packs of opiate suboxone, marijuana, 19 grams of ecstasy and 158 pain pills.
