New Allegations Against Charlie Rose Emerge After His Firing

Rose was fired from PBS and CBS News Tuesday after a Washington Post report detailed claims from eight women with stories of inappropriate interactions with him

The morning show where Charlie Rose worked until being fired Tuesday is reporting that two women at CBS News claim that Rose grabbed them inappropriately, with one saying he also whispered a sexual innuendo.

And a woman told NBC News that Rose forced her to watch a graphic sex scene from a movie while she was interning on his talk show 15 years ago.

Sarah Gordon said that Rose said "I want to show you this scene" from "Secretary," about a woman's sexual relationship with her boss. He asked her how the scene made her feel, including if it made her aroused, she said.

"CBS This Morning" said three women at CBS have reported misconduct by Rose. The network said one didn't want details of her accusations made public, and all three requested anonymity.

The accusations came to light after CBS News President David Rhodes fired the host on Tuesday for what he called "extremely disturbing and intolerable behavior" by Rose toward women at his PBS talk show. PBS has also cut ties to Rose.

Rose has apologized for his actions, saying, "It is essential that these women know I hear them and that I deeply apologize for my inappropriate behavior."

Rose's former co-host Gayle King said Wednesday that it's important to keep reporting on the story.

Gordon said about Rose's termination: "I think he's probably troubled, and I have empathy for people that are troubled and, you know, I think we all have issues in life."
