Miami Beach Wedding Crasher Assaulted Guests, Cops: Police

Martinez challenged responding officers to fight and said he would remember and kill them too

A man crashed a Miami Beach wedding and starting attacking guests then fought with officers who responded to the scene, police said.

The incident happened Wednesday when officers responded to reports of a man assaulting people in the 900 block of the beach, according to an arrest report.

When officers arrived, they found 31-year-old Raul Martinez fighting beachgoers and "attacking random people inside the event," the report said.

Officers tried to take Martinez into custody but he headbutted an officer and spat at him twice, the report said. He also told the officer in Spanish that he was "going to kill his f----t ass the moment he gets out of jail," the report said.

Martinez also challenged other responding officers to fight and said he would remember and kill them too, "just like this f----t pig here," the report said.

Police booked Martinez into jail on assault and battery charges. He remained held on $15,500 bond Thursday, records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.
