Owner of Mystery Casket Found in Wisconsin Steps Forward

The coffin was found along a highway in Adams County over the weekend

Sheriff's deputies in central Wisconsin say the case of a mysterious casket has been solved.

The Adams County Sheriff's Office says the owner of the empty casket found on the side of a highway over the weekend has come forward to claim it.

WAOW-TV reports the casket was used in a haunted hayride for Halloween. The sheriff's office says the coffin fell out of a boat that was being pulled by a truck.
