Couple Gifts Super Bowl Tickets to Teen With Cancer

A generous Nevada couple gave a teenage boy who suffers from Stage IV cancer, a gift many people would dream of - Super Bowl tickets.

Gary and Megan Kasden of Incline Village won two tickets from a raffle at the Tahoe Forest Cancer Center to one of the biggest sporting games of the year, according to CSN Bay Area.

Gary Kasden, who just came out of chemotherapy, would be unable to attend the Super Bowl after he battled the flu and recently found out he has pneumonia.

Since traveling would be too strenuous, Gary Kaden his wife contacted the Gene Upshaw Memorial Fund and the Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation to pay-it-forward to someone else.

The Kasden's chose 16-year-old Kody Beach from Spring Creek, Nev., who has been battling a rare type of malenoma, usually found in adults. Kody's father said his son has undergone five operations and the cancer has spread to his lungs.

With only two tickets to give, the Upshaw Foundation and the NFL donated two more, so the entire family can go to the game in New Jersey.

This will be an unforgettable memory for Kody before he starts treatment again.

Although Kody is an Eagle's fan, he and his family could not be more thankful for the Kasden's big-hearted gift.
