For high school sweethearts Ralph and LaVerne Wozniak, going to prom had been something they've always wanted to do. Over 70 years after they left high school, they got the chance. The couple attended the Hillsborough County Aging Services senior prom after missing their own in 1944, "Today" reported. Ralph, then 17-years-old, dropped out of school to serve in the Korean and later World War II, making him unable to attend the dance. When the couple heard of the senior citizens prom, they jumped at the chance. Donning corsages and their prom-perfect outfits, the couple topped the night with Ralph winning prom king. "I was shocked, I said 'Oh my god, I'm just glad to be at the prom, and now I made king," he said. "It was the best achievement that could have happened for my wife and I. It was timed just beautifully."
