This CD cover image released by Def Jam Recordings shows "Braxton Family Christmas."
Brian Setzer Orchestra livens up the holiday audio with "Rockin' Rudolph." It's a sometimes twisted rock take on seasonal songs such as "Joy to the World" and "Here Comes Santa Claus," to quirky originals like "Yabba-Dabba Yuletide."
It's a "Braxton Family Christmas." Sisters Toni, Tamar, Towanda, Trina and Traci offer up soulful harmonies on "O Holy Night (A cappella)" and "Last Christmas," along with R&B originals "Everyday is Christmas" and "Under My Christmas Tree."
EMPTY_CAPTION"Christmas in Tahoe" by Train is a 15 track gift of holiday standards and obscure titles from past decades, such as "Tinsel and Lights." Frontman Pat Monahan even tackles Joni Mitchell's beloved "River."
EMPTY_CAPTION"Christmas With Friends" is India.Arie's first holiday album and she smoothly partners on each track with guests including Dave Koz, Trombone Shorty, Brandy, Michael McDonald Khristian Dentley.
EMPTY_CAPTION"A Very Swingin' Basie Christmas" pays a seasonal visit to the Count Basie Orchestra and finds them in a bluesy, laid-back mood. The big band gets intimate on "Little Drummer Boy" after making those "Jingle Bells" jump.
Kenny Rogers has said "Once Again It's Christmas" will be his sixth and final holiday album. Ahead of retirement Rogers is in a sentimental mood with classic carols ("I'll Be Home for Christmas," "Winter Wonderland") and collaborations with Jennifer Nettles, Home Free, Alison Krauss and Jim Brickman.
LeAnn Rimes follows up 2014's "One Christmas: Chapter One" with this year's "Today Is Christmas," comprised of classics ("We Need a Little Christmas," "Little Drummer Boy"), original songs ("That Spirit of Christmas") and duets with Aloe Blacc and Gavin DeGraw.
EMPTY_CAPTION"Adore" is the new album from contemporary Christian artist Chris Tomlin and features classic Christmas songs, original takes on the season and guest performances from Lauren Daigle, All Sons & Daughters and Kristyn Getty.
My Little Pony's "It's a Pony Kind of Christmas" gathers various artists (or should that be Ponies?) for a sweet, suitable for even the youngest listener, take on classics such as "Silent Night," "Jingle Bells" and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas."
Pop goddess Kylie Minogue takes the traditional route for her first holiday album, "Kylie Christmas." There's big band back-ups and even a sing-along with Frank Sinatra on "Santa Claus is Coming to Town."
EMPTY_CAPTION"The Classic Christmas 80s Album" revisits seasonal rock songs from three decades ago and includes gems such as Wham's "Last Christmas," "Christmas in Hollis" by Run DMC, Billy Squire's "Christmas Is the Time to Say I Love You," and "Do You Hear What I Hear' by Whitney Houston.
