Two New York sisters who grew up doing everything together gave birth at the same hospital, on the same day.
Newsday reports that 29-year-old Michelle Clarke delivered daughter Savannah at about 1:30 p.m. Friday -- just two hours after younger sister Christina Santos-Santiago delivered little Nicolas.
The newspaper said doctors at the South Nassau Communities Hospital put the tight-knit siblings in neighboring hospital rooms.
Both moms delivered via C-section. The sisters were already moms, but Clarke said that spending time together before her sister went in to have baby No. 1 of the day was still important.
“She was about to go through the same thing,” Clarke told the paper. “That made me feel more at ease.”
