Snow in Harris Hollow, Washington, VA. Rappahannock County Dear NBC Washington News: It’s beautiful today in Rappahannock County—not as much snow as we had expected! We live at the foot of the Blue Ridge. Enjoy the pictures of our farm and “Tinker II”—our resident juvenile male hummingbird. Last year we had “Tink.” This year we have “Tinker II.” I am including Tink’s story—I hope Tinker II also survives the winter as well. I don’t know why these young, juvenile hummers linger after the others have migrated. With changing climates and weather patterns, I think these tough little birds are having a difficult time adjusting. Best, Beth DeBergh
