You, Too, Can Have an Electric Car Charging Station

After a little more research on electric vehicle charging stations in the District, it appears that Chargepoint America has three more currently in the works: Two chargers at 555 13th St. NW (one for Hines and one for Hogan Lovells) and another at General Motors' offices at 25 Massachusetts Ave. Outside the District, stations are planned for the University of Maryland, Mom's Organic Grocery Stores and Starwood Hotels.

But the program, funded by stimulus money, is supposed to have 100 total stations installed in the D.C. area by the ambitious deadline of October of this year. And they're free. So if you want an electric fuelling station outside your apartment building or place of business (Yes! Organic Markets would seem like a logical location, for example) do holler.
