Remnants of Nate Bring Rain to DC Area

The remnants of Tropical Depression Nate brought rain the the D.C. area Monday morning, and the wet weather will stick around.

Rain drenched the region during the morning rush hour, making many area road slick.

Storm Team4 declared Monday a Weather Alert Day.

The rain tapered off after 9 a.m., but a few scattered showers may still be possible through the afternoon.

We'll get a break from the rain Tuesday, but rain chances return Wednesday and Thursday. Storm Team4 says the region should start to dry out Saturday.

Temperatures in the area will be fall-like, with highs in the mid-70s by Wednesday. But expect another warm-up this weekend.
