Officials say a woman was robbed while walking along the C&O Canal close to Georgetown Wednesday.
According to police, the woman was walking along the canal close to Thomas Jefferson Street just after 5 p.m. when she approached by three men. She was using earphones at the time.
She said one man snatched her iPhone, then all three fled the scene, heading east.
The suspect who took the phone is described as a black man between the ages of 16 and 18, wearing a bright blue T-shirt with blue jeans.
