Wizards Lose Trevor Booker, Acquire Kris Humphries

The Washington Wizards continued to reconstruct their roster Tuesday, reportedly acquiring forward Kris Humphries from the Boston Celtics after signing a three-year, $13 million contract, according to Yahoo Sports.

As noted in the report, the Wizards and Celtics were working to finalize a sign-and-trade to work Humphries' deal into the salary cap. Humphries, known more for his 72-day marriage to Kim Kardashian, averaged 8.4 points and 5.9 rebounds last season for the Celtics.

Humphries will replace power forward Trevor Booker, who left Washington after four seasons to join the Utah Jazz on a two-year, $10 million contract.

This past weekend, veteran Paul Pierce joined the Wizards on a two-year deal worth $11 million. Center Marcin Gortat also recently re-signed for five years.
