Wizards Beat Heat 105-101

Last night marks the team's second win in 15 games

Last night at the Wizards-Heat game at the Verizon center, a few famous faces were in attendance -- most notably Redskins QB Robert Griffin III. News4's Jim Vance was also there, tweeting, "At wizards game. RG3 in the house. Fans shouting put him in."

Early on in the night, the tweet drew a rueful laugh about the record of the Wizards -- who were at 1-13 and surely couldn't be hurt by adding a star Redskins player to their roster. But by the end of the game, the Wizards had managed to pull out a win 105-101 against the Miami Heat, current defending champions.

“Confidence is key,” reserve guard Jordan Crawford said, according to the Washington Post. “It’s easy to get pumped for this, a game against the best players and I think it’s going to help us for the rest of the season, because everybody is gaining confidence in themselves and making us a better team.”

Up next? An away game at the Atlanta Hawks (9-5).
