A wintry mix of light icing and snow may move into the southern suburbs of D.C. during the morning hours Friday.
Only minor impacts are likely as this wintry mix moves through. Schools in Spotsylvania and Stafford counties operated on a 2-hour delay Friday because of the weather.
Light rain is likely for the D.C. metro area beginning at noon and into the afternoon. The rain should end Friday night.
We will get a small break from the winter weather over the weekend.
