A teenage boy was hit by a car while sitting in his wheelchair in McLean, Va., Tuesday morning.
The crash happened around 7 a.m. near the intersection of Davidson Road and Symphony Court in Mclean.
Firefighters shut down traffic in the area of the accident near Davidson Road and Symphony Court about 7 a.m.
Fairfax county police are investigating what caused the accident. The driver stayed at the scene.
The teen is expected to recover.
