Metro says work on the rail system will affect all six lines this weekend.
On the Green Line, free shuttle buses will replace trains between Gallery Place and Navy Yard this Saturday and Sunday. The Archives and Waterfront stations will be closed, as will the upper level of the L'Enfant Plaza station.
Orange and Blue Line trains will run every 20 minutes.
Red Line trains will operate every 12 to 15 minutes between Shady Grove and Silver Spring. Shuttle trains will operate every 20 minutes between Silver Spring and Glenmont.
On the Yellow Line, trains will run every 10 minutes between Huntington and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport only.
Silver Line trains will run every 10 minutes between Wiehle-Reston East and Ballston.
