WEATHER ALERT DAY: Rain Into Snow for Some Areas

Scattered rain showers are expected to continue into Sunday evening with some snow potentially mixing in, according to Storm Team4.

Meteorologist Amelia Segal said rain and snow showers will come to an end overnight from west to east with dry conditions by the morning commute. The Eastern Shore will see rain transition to mainly all snow overnight and could get as much as 2 inches.

There will be no snow accumulation for the D.C. area, Segal said, however, Monday morning will be chilly with temperatures in the 20s to mid 30s. Monday's highs will be in the upper 40s to low 50s.

Temperatures are expected to continue to rise throughout the upcoming week, reaching into the 70s on Wednesday and Thursday.
