Tom Clancy's former Huntingtown, Maryland, waterfront property and home are on sale for $6.2 million. The 537-acre lot hosts the 17,000-square-foot seven-bedroom home, a three-bedroom guest home and a tennis court, swimming pool and 1947 German tank, although realtor Angel Stevens says the tank will be removed when the home is sold.

Perhaps one of the most exciting possibilities for Clancy fans is the chance to own a piece of literary history: The author's own library. It's complete with floor-to-ceiling bookcases that were stuffed with titles until the home was prepared for sale, Stevens said.

Recreation options at the home include a gym (pictured above), tennis courts and a 1,000-square-foot jungle gym. Those amenities seem banal when you consider the next-level luxuries. In addition to the two-lane gun range, there's a pool with a retractable roof so residents and guests can swim and lounge any time of year.

Buyers could keep the three-bedroom guest house for friends and family, or the property could be broken up under Calvert County law to support more development, according to the real estate listing. It's comprised of eleven separate lots.
