Watch 128 Chihuahuas Race at the Wharf to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo

The Wharf is set to host the 7th Annual Running of the Chihuahuas, when 128 pint-sized pooches race in groups of eight on a 60-foot race track.

The event is free to attend, but it's $30 to enter your chihuahua in the race. The deadline to register online is May 4.

All entry fees will benefit Rural Dog Rescue, a D.C. based non-profit organization dedicated to saving dogs from high-kill shelters in rural areas of Virginia, West Virginia, and North and South Carolina.
