A violent crash in Northeast Washington left two people injured and two vehicles completely destroyed.
A car and a van crashed in the intersection of South Dakota Avenue and Bladensburg Road NE about midnight, the DC Fire Department says.
One person had to be extricated from one of the vehicles. Fire officials say two people were taken to the hospital. Their current conditions are not known.
No further information has been released.
