Person Found Dead in Centreville Neighborhood Is a Juvenile

Police released an image of his sweatshirt to help identify the boy

The person found dead on a neighborhood street in Centreville, Virginia, on Wednesday is a juvenile, officials say.

Fairfax County police are still working to confirm his identity.

A delivery man found the juvenile's body around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday in a cul de sac parking lot of the Faircrest community.

Medics pronounced him dead at the scene because of trauma to the upper body. An autopsy will be conducted.

The victim's sweatshirt may help identify him. It was black and showed a skull, a snake and the words “vibe” and “town.”

Anyone with information about the juvenile's identity or the incident is asked to call police.
