U.S. Marshals Track Down Fairfax Co. Man Who Taunted Cops on Social Media

U.S. Marshals announced Friday that they arrested a Fairfax County man who had evaded police for eight months -- all the while taunting law enforcement on Twitter and Facebook about his success.

Kelvin Shawn Bailey had been wanted since March for a felony charge of possessing marijuana with the intent to distribute.

Officials from the U.S. Marshals Service, Diplomatic Security Service, U.S. Secret Service, Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office, Fairfax County Police Department and Loudon County Sheriff’s Department tracked Bailey to the location where he was living in Aldie, VA.

At approximately 5:45 a.m. Thursday, officers surrounded Bailey at a residence on Lenah Road in Aldie, Va. Bailey exited the home through a window when police entered the house. He was apprehended and transported to Fairfax County for prosecution.

Prince William also issued a warrant on Bailey for driving with a suspended license, authorities said.
