Unclaimed $100,000 Lottery Ticket Set to Expire in Virginia

Cash 5 ticket purchased May 2 at a 7-Eleven located at 5834 North King's Highway in Alexandria

A winning lottery ticket is set to expire in Virginia soon if no one steps up to claim it.

The Cash 5 ticket -- worth a cool $100,000 -- was purchased May 2 at a 7-Eleven located at 5834 North King's Highway in Alexandria.

The ticket matched all five winning numbers for the drawing: 6-15-18-23-32. The person who has the ticket should contact the Virginia Lottery at 804-692-7777 or 703-494-1501.

Lottery officials say winning tickets in Virginia expire after 180 days, so the ticket will become worthless unless the winner comes forward by Oct. 29 at 5 p.m.

Unclaimed winnings go to the state's Literary Fund.
