Two-Alarm Row House Fire in NW DC Injures Firefighter

One D.C firefighter was injured when a two-alarm fire broke out in a row house in northwest Washington early Saturday.

D.C. Fire and EMS Twitter account showed the alarm was called in the 1700 block of U Street, Northwest. They said fire was showing from the roof deck of a three-story row house.

The bulk of the fire was knocked down in about 30 minutes. They said one firefighter suffered minor injuries and was transported to a hospital.

Officials said four adults and two children were living in the home at the time. They were not injured.
