BALTIMORE -- A trapeze school that has operated by Baltimore's Inner Harbor for five seasons is moving to D.C.
Trapeze School New York's last class in Baltimore will be held Sunday, school officials said. D.C. classes begin June 6.
School officials wanted a site where they can operate year-round.
The school was not able to find an indoor location or space where it could put a tent over its rig in Baltimore, TSNY Baltimore President Brian McVicker said.
Washington officials recently contacted the company and jumped at the chance to find a suitable arrangement, McVicker said.
The school will reopen at a temporary space at Ninth and H streets in northwest Washington on June 6. The school plans to move to The Yards in Southeast near Nationals Park, McVicker said.
