A Norfolk Southern train was derailed intentionally in Southside Virginia Saturday night near the Martinsville Speedway.
Henry County Sheriff Lane Perry said it occurred after an object was placed on the tracks.
Media outlets reported that there were no injuries.
The train was hauling agricultural products.
The locomotive derailed but most of the cars did not.
