Area commuters were facing pains during the Tuesday morning commute as traffic was delayed on I-395, the Baltimore-Washington Parkway and the Capital Beltway.
Police cleared the crashes and traffic returned to normal later Tuesday.
This was the traffic situation at 9 a.m.:
I-395

The BW Parkway/Anacostia Freeway
Traffic is jammed on the southbound side of the Anacostia Freeway/Baltimore-Washington Parkway for up to five miles because of a vehicle disabled in the left lane.
Capital Beltway
The left lane of the inner loop is blocked after an accident near I-95, WTOP reported. The outer loop is moving again after earlier delays.
