They say "it's no use crying over spilled milk," but that may not have been the case if you were thirsty in Virginia on Monday.

A tractor-trailer carrying 4,600 gallons of milk fell over and spilled its load in Henrico County, Virginia State Police said.

The incident happened about 1 p.m. on the ramp from Staples Mill Road onto Interstate 295 in Glen Allen police said.

The truck driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The ramp was closed so crews could clean up the spill, officials said.

The Department of Agriculture was notified of the incident.

The incident is still under investigation.
