A 15-month-old child is in critical condition after nearly drowning in Gaithersburg, Maryland, fire officials say.
The toddler was found in the bathtub at a home on Jubal Place Saturday morning, Montgomery County Fire & Rescue spokesperson Pete Piringer said.
Officials got a call about 10:20 a.m. that the child had accidentally fallen into the tub, WTOP reported.
Medics took the toddler to a hospital in critical condition.
