Toddler Hurt by Glass Shattered by Bullets Fired Into Her Home

19-month-old girl injured by glass fragments after shots were fired into her Odenton, Md., home

A 19-month-old girl was injured by glass fragments after shots were fired into her Odenton, Md., home earlier this week.

Anne Arundel County Police say the shots were fired into a home on Cadbury Drive around 9:45 p.m. Monday. A couple and their three young children were in the home at the time.

The toddler was hit by fragments when the window shattered. She was treated at the scene.

Witnesses told police they saw a man with a long weapon in his hand run from the scene and flee in a car. Police say the crime does not appear to be random.
