Tire-Deflating Judge Cited for Tampering

Judge was upset about car parked in his space

The judge who let the air out of a courthouse custodian's tire has been given a ticket.

Charles County Circuit Court Judge Robert Nalley admitted to deflating the tire of a car parked illegally in Nalley's space near the courthouse.

On Friday, he was cited for tampering with a motor vehicle.

Nalley said he was frustrated because the owner of the car kept parking in a restricted space. The custodian has said she hadn't been told not to park in the space.

Last week Nalley resigned from his position as chief administrative judge. He still serves as an associate judge in Charles County Circuit Court.
